This site was built with Claude Code. Mike Dobroski directed the design and supplied the source material. Stack

  • Astro, static output, TypeScript in strict mode.
  • Hand-written CSS on a character-cell grid. No CSS framework, no component kit, no icon packs.
  • Hosted on Cloudflare Workers with static assets, deployed from a Git repository.
  • No analytics, no cookies, no third-party requests. Every font and image is served from this origin.

Type

  • Monaspace Argon for structure, headings and code. SIL Open Font License 1.1.
  • Literata for reading text. SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Both are subset and self-hosted. The license files ship with the source.

Color

One hue. Every color on the site is a violet or lavender, set as tokens in a single stylesheet. Contrast is checked against WCAG 2.2 AA.
